| Common Editing Shortcuts SUMMARY: Cut, copy, and paste text with ease in many Windows 2000 software packages. These keyboard shortcuts work in most software packages, and many of them work just about anywhere in Windows 2000.
DEL: delete text
CONTROL-X: Cut the selected text, placing a copy in the ClipBoard.
CONTROL-C: Copy the current text to the ClipBoard.
CONTROL-V: Paste the contents of the ClipBoard at the current cursor position (the ClipBoard contents remain, so you can past several times).
CONTROL-Z: Undo the last keystroke.
CONTROL-F: Find text
CONTROL-H: Find and replace text
