Windows 2000 Misc. - Test Your Printer

SUMMARY: Ensure your printer is correctly connected to your Windows 2000 computer.

Have you just installed a new printer on your Windows 2000 machine, or are you not sure your printer is working correctly? Give it a run-through by printing a test page.

1. Click the "Start" menu, then "Settings", then "Printers".
2. When the "Printers" window appears, right-click on your default printer name and choose "Properties".
3. When the printer properties multi-tabbed dialog box appears, select the "General" tab.
4. Now, click "Print Test Page" (it's near the bottom of the dialog box).
