This tip was printed from the MalekTips Computer and Technology Help and Tips website at http://malektips.com. Windows 2000 and Tweak UI - Hide Shortcut ArrowsSUMMARY: Remove the arrows on Windows 2000 shortcut icons with Tweak UI.
Normally, when you create a shortcut to an item in Windows 2000, an icon appears representing the shortcut. To signify that the icon is not a file but a shortcut to another item, a small arrow appears at the bottom-left of the icon. While many people find this convenient as it shows that the icon represents a shortcut, others would rather hide the arrow. If you belong in the latter group, you can use Tweak UI to hide the shortcut arrow. |
