If you share your Windows 2000 computer with others who like to change system settings, you may wish to hide Control Panel icons from them. This is possible with Tweak UI. Note that while this is a quick way to keep most people from changing settings, hiding the icons does not complete remove their functionality - someone who knows what they are doing can access the files directly. Plus, someone could also go to the same section in Tweak UI and re-enable the icons. |
