Forgot Your Windows Password?
SUMMARY: If you have forgotten your Windows 95 password, this tip may be of assistance.
Have you forgotten your Windows 95 password? If so, first log into Windows 95 by pressing "CANCEL" on the login dialog box. Go to the DOS prompt and enter the WINDOWS directory. Do a DIR *.PWL - what you will see are your password files. Delete the one corresponding to your name by keying DEL passwordfilename. Close the DOS prompt and restart your Windows 95 sessions.
Can't handle the DOS prompt? You can do the same from Explorer.
