Registry Changes Getting Reverted
SUMMARY: Is the Windows 95 registry driving you crazy? Are changes constantly getting reverted? This tip may provide some answers.
When making changes to the Windows 95 Registry (which you should only do if you know EXACTLY what you are doing!!!), you may come across times where the changes get reverted back to their previous state. The most common reason for registry changes to be un-done is that an entry in one of Win95's initialization files is altering the change. Look in the following files for initialization information that may be conflicting: WIN.INI, CONTROL.INI, and SYSTEM.INI (all should be in the standard WINDOWS directory).
