Windows 95 Misc
Create drive shortcuts on your desktop
SUMMARY: Gain quick access to your hard drives and removable media in Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0.
If you're used to another operating system besides Windows 95 (which will remain nameless here for this discussion), then you're used to having access to floppy and hard drives direct from the desktop. This is easy to duplicate with Win95 and NT4.0. First, double-click the "My Computer" icon on the desktop. Then, right-click on the drive you want access to and keep the mouse button held down as you drag the icons to the desktop. If you see a pop-up menu, choose "Create shortcut(s) here." Voila!
