Windows 95 Misc
Drive the CABs to your Machine
SUMMARY: Make installing new Windows 95 features quicker by copying CAB files from the CD to your hard drive.
Do you tweak with your Windows 95 settings often? Are you indecisive when it comes to what accessories you want installed? Instead of continuously having to swap in and out the Win95 CD, why not copy the CAB files to your hard drive? Create a folder on your Windows drive called Cabs, and insert your Windows 95 CD in the drive. Select "Browse this CD" when the menu comes up (or just browse the CD using Explorer). Now, copy the contents of the Win95 folder to your Cabs folder.
