SUMMARY: Save space on your Windows 95 desktop.
Windows 95 defaults to placing a fair amount of space between icons on the desktop and in Explorer. If you would like to reduce (or increase) this space, try the following. First, right-click on an empty area of the desktop. Select "Properties" from the pull-down menu that appears. On the multi-tabbed dialog box which pops up, choose the "Appearance" tab. Next to "Item," select either "Icon Spacing (Horizontal)" or "Icon Spacing (Vertical.)" Enter the desired spacing and click "OK" to close the dialog box.
Press the "print" button on your browser or select "File" - "Print" to print this tip. Then, return to Windows 95 Icons - Crunch Them Icons
