SUMMARY: More tips about document to software associations with Windows 95.
Instead of double-clicking a file icon to open A Windows 95 file's associated program, hold down the SHIFT key and right-click the icon. A menu will appear with several options. Choose "Open With..." and a dialog box will appear, giving you the option of several programs that you can use to open the specified file. Make sure "Always use this program to open this type of file" is not checked, or every time you open a file of a similar type, you will use the program you select in the dialog box.
