Formatting Floppies 101
SUMMARY: Here's how to format floppy disks in Windows 95 Explorer.
Most people buy floppy disks pre-formatted, but there may be times when you need to erase everything on the disk. To do so, you should format the floppy disk. This is a simple task with Windows 95 - just put the floppy disk that you want to format in your computer, double-click "My Computer," and find your floppy drive on the window that appears. Right-click the floppy drive, choose "Format" from the menu that appears, and press the "Start" button.
