Windows 95 General Troubleshooting
Capture Error Messages for Technical Support
SUMMARY: This tip is invaluable if you have to contact technical support for computer problems with Windows 95.
When contacting technical support regarding Windows 95 error messages, if you cannot exactly duplicate the message that appears, take a snapshot of the current window. Use the snapshot tip mentioned earlier in MalekTips, except that instead of printing the snapshot graphic to a file, save it to disk. Now, open up your E-Mail package, write to technical support, and attach the snapshot graphic to your E-Mail message.
