Leave Free Hard Drive Room
SUMMARY: Why you should leave a little extra free hard drive room with Windows 95.
With normal settings, Windows 95 dynamically resizes your virtual memory swap file when necessary (the virtual memory swap file lets you run more programs than can be normally allowed with the amount of memory on your computer). Thus, it is important not to fill up your main Windows drive with files and programs. If you do, Win95 may not be able to resize the swap file to its necessary size, potentially resulting in "out of memory" errors.
