Calculator and Scientific Notation
SUMMARY: Deal with very large or small numbers with the Windows 95 calculator.
If you just love dealing with very large or small numbers, you probably need to use scientific notation. You can force Windows 95's calculator to always use that representation in calculations, no matter the number size. Click the 'F-E' button on the calculator (if you do not see this button, click the 'View' menu, selecting 'Scientific'). Note that for really large numbers, Windows 95 will automatically use scientific notation, but if you need to see 2.e+3 instead of 2000, this trick is for you.
