| Playing Music from Extended CDs SUMMARY: Got problems playing certain CDs, such as Extended CDs, with Windows 95? This tip may help.
Some music CDs nowadays come with software applications, such as games, artist bios, etc. While these programs are nice, when you insert a music CD, don't you expect to hear music and not have to deal with a software application program?
Unfortunately, when you insert such a CD, you need to manually start your Windows 95 CD player to hear the music. For example, if you use the default CD player, just click the "Start" button, choosing "Accessories," then "Entertainment," then "CD Player." Click on the play button and your CD-ROM will finally start playing music.
