| Show/Hide Toolbar SUMMARY: Toggle display of the Windows 95 DOS prompt toolbar
Some of the aforementioned tips in MalekTips and elsewhere regarding DOS prompts refer to a toolbar. This toolbar, available on Windows 95 DOS prompt windows, lets you change font sizes, copy and paste text, and more. If you do not see this toolbar over a DOS prompt, or if you see the toolbar and want to hide it, do the following.
1. Open a DOS prompt window. 2. Right-click on the top-left of the DOS prompt window (on the MSDOS symbol). 3. On the popup menu that appears, select "Properties." 4. On the multi-tabbed dialog box that appears, select the "Screen" tab. 5. Check or uncheck "Display toolbar" as desired 6. Press "OK" to close the dialog box.
