Windows 95 and DOS

DOS Prompt Column Text Selection

SUMMARY: DOS Prompts with Windows 95 allow you to select text by columns.

Normally, when you select text in Windows 95 for cutting, copying, or pasting, you can select by only by character, word, or line, and not by column. This is not the case for DOS prompts. Open up a DOS prompt with Windows 95 and click the mark button on the toolbar. Now, you can select text in the window for cutting, copying, or pasting, but you can select text by column, not just by line.
