Windows 95 File Removal - Uninstall - Recycle Bin
Be Sure to Uninstall Programs Properly
SUMMARY: Use the Control Panel to uninstall programs from Windows 95.
With Win3.1 and DOS you probably uninstalled programs the old fashioned way - you just deleted the appropriate files. Under Win95, this is NOT recommended unless this is the only way to remove files. Instead, click on the "Start" button, choose "Settings," then "Control Panel." On the window that appears, double-click "Add/Remove Programs." Now, click on the program you want to uninstall and choose "Add/Remove."
