Windows 95 File Removal - Uninstall - Recycle Bin
Stop Recycling Files!
SUMMARY: How to disable the Windows 95 Recycle Bin.
Are you tired of Win95 asking you whether or not you wish to move files to the Recycle Bin when you want to remove files? If you are SURE you will NEVER unintentionally press the delete key on a file, you can turn off the Recycle Bin. Again - only do this if you are REALLY careful and if you have an undelete program. This tip is NOT recommended but is being offered here for information-purposes only.
First, right-click on your "Recycle Bin," choosing "Properties." Select "Use one setting for all drives." Check "Do not move files to the Recycle Bin." Click "OK."
If you have any files currently in your Recycle Bin, you will still have to go back and delete those. Otherwise, no other files should end up going to your bin. When you delete a file - you will delete the file.
