Windows 95 Internet - Networking - Where is Information Traveling on the Internet?

Curious about where information is traveling on the Internet between your site and others? Are you finding a break in Internet connectivity between certain sites? Check your WINDOWS or WINNT folder for a DOS program called TRACERT. Keying TRACERT and then the name of a specific domain, then pressing ENTER, will show you the hops - where information travels - between your computer and the specific domain. You'll get to see all of the intermediate domains as well as how long it is taking for information to travel.
