Windows 95 Internet - Networking - Reloading LMHOSTS

SUMMARY: Reload Windows 95's remote cache name table.

Although you probably will not need to use the LMHOSTS file with Windows 95 because of the way it handles networking, in case you do, there may be times when you want to reload the file after you make changes to shares. Just run the command

NBTSTAT -R

from a command prompt. This refreshes the remote cache name table. Make sure to use a capital R and not a lower-cased r.
