Windows 95 Installation and Upgrading - Does Your PC Have a CD?

When upgrading older PCs from DOS or Windows 3.x to Windows 95, make sure the PC has a CD-ROM. Granted, Windows 95 does come in a 3 1/2 disk version, but there are problems when relying on this. The diskette version is missing several applets and other features found on the CD. Plus, the 3 1/2 disk version takes forever to install. If you have to, buy an external parallel port CD-ROM drive before installing Windows 95.
