Windows 95 Keyboard Shortcuts - Getting out of Subfolders with a Keystroke

SUMMARY: Windows 95 keyboard shortcut to jump to a folder's parent.

Are you stuck in a deep sub-sub-sub-subfolder and want to go up a few levels on the folder tree? Just click on an empty area of the folder window and press the backspace key. Depending on how you have Explorer set up, a new window containing the next upper-most level of the directory tree will appear, or the current folder display will be replaced by the display of the next upper-most level of the directory tree. Just make sure to press the backspace key and not the delete key!
