In Explorer, on webpages, etc., you sometimes are given the opportunity to select things. If you ever want to select one or more options on a webpage, or one or more files in Explorer, just hold down the CONTROL key and click on multiple options/files to toggle them. To select a group of options or files all in a row, click on the first option that you wish to select.
