Windows 95 and the Mouse - Mouse Trails

SUMMARY: Enable mouse trails to make your mouse pointer easier to see on laptops running Windows 95.

Bored with your current mouse pointer [you have already made it colorized and animated, haven't you?] Here's a trick that will drive the pointer crazy - turn on mouse trails.

Click on the "Start" buttons, choosing "Settings" and then "Control Panel." Double-click "Mouse" on the window that appears. On the multi-tabbed dialog box that follows, select "Motion." Check the box "Show Pointer Trails" by clicking on it. Adjust the size of the trails by clicking on the slider bar. Click "OK" to leave the "Mouse" section of the "Control Panel."

Users with laptops, LCD screens, monochrome monitors, etc. may benefit from this section of the "Control Panel".
