Windows 95 and the Mouse
Multi-Select Files with the Right Button
SUMMARY: Multi-select files in Windows 95 with the right mouse button to get file properties, delete files, and more.
Holding down the left mouse button on the desktop while moving the pointer will cause you to draw a rectangle on the screen, "selecting" several files at once. This fact, however, can be used to a greater advantage when you hold down the right mouse-button and draw a rectangle. Multi-selection with the right mouse button brings up a pop-up menu after you select the files, letting you retrieve certain properties on all of the selected files at once (such as the total file size), delete all of the selected files at once, and more.
