This tip was printed from the MalekTips Computer and Technology Help and Tips website at http://malektips.com. Windows 95 and the Mouse - Multi-Select Files with the Right ButtonHolding down the left mouse button on the desktop while moving the pointer will cause you to draw a rectangle on the screen, "selecting" several files at once. This fact, however, can be used to a greater advantage when you hold down the right mouse-button and draw a rectangle. Multi-selection with the right mouse button brings up a pop-up menu after you select the files, letting you retrieve certain properties on all of the selected files at once (such as the total file size), delete all of the selected files at once, and more.
