| Explore Your Mouse Control Panel SUMMARY: Specialized mice may add additional functions to the Windows 95 Mouse Control Panel.
Many of the mouse-related tips in MalekTips involve accessing the mouse control panel. Why not take some time and explore your mouse control panel yourself? Certain mice add features to your system like the following:
* "Smart move" - when an "OK" dialog appears, enabling this feature moves your mouse pointer right on top of the OK button.
* Button assignments - if you have a middle mouse button, you can define it to be a double-click, a key press, or one of other options.
* Mouse corners - automatically active a screensaver or other software when your mouse is moved to a corner of the screen.
To start your exploration, click on the "Start" button, choosing "Settings" and then "Control Panel." Double-click "Mouse" on the window that appears. Now, navigate through the tabs and learn exactly what your particular mouse or input device can do! Just be sure to read all of the help text before making changes.
