Windows 95 Notepad - Wordpad - WordPad - Select Words, not Letters

SUMMARY: Change how WordPad selects words.

With WordPad, you can force the software to select an entire word when you highlight any character of the word with your mouse. If you are a little clumsy with the mouse (or just plain find it more convenient this way), do the following.

Once you get WordPad running, choose the "View" menu, selecting "Options." Click on the "Options" tab on the dialog box that follows. Place a checkmark next to "Automatic Word Selection" and press the OK button to close the dialog box.
