Save Print Jobs For Later Printing
SUMMARY: Store print jobs for later printing if you currently do not have access to a printer.
Do you often need to set up several print jobs at a time when you either do not want to turn on the printer or do not have access to a printer? You can spool print jobs and tell the printer not to print until you are ready. To do so, click on the "Start" button, choosing "Settings," then "Printers." Right-click on your desired printer, and on the pop-up menu that follows, check "Pause Printing." After you have queued your desired jobs and have printer access, go through the same process, but uncheck "Pause Printing."
Note that this trick even lets you keep print jobs between Win95 sessions. If you shut down and restart Win95, you will be presented with a dialog box that asks if you want to keep the print jobs, delete the jobs, or go ahead and start printing.
