Turn Off the Startup Screen During a Given Boot

SUMMARY: Prevent the Windows logo from appearing when you boot your machine.

You may want to turn off the Windows logo screen when booting up during a particular session (you may have a DOS program running in the background that you want to check on, for example). If so, when the screen appears showing "Starting Windows 95," press and hold the Escape key for a few seconds.
