Windows 95 Screensavers

Missing the Blank Screen Screensaver?

SUMMARY: Reinstall Windows 95's Blank Screen screensaver if it is missing on your system.

Are you missing the "Blank Screen" screensaver? You probably disabled installing screensavers when you set up Win95. To remedy this, click on the "Start" button. Choose "Settings," then "Control Panel." Double-click "Add Remove Programs." Click on the Windows Setup tab on the dialog box that follows. Double-click "Accessories." Scroll down and click "Screen Savers." You need to enable the "Additional Screen Savers" component by checking it. Click OK several times and insert your Win95 install CD when prompted.

Now, you can just select the "Blank Screen" module like any other screensaver.
