Windows 95 Taskbar - Toolbar - Move or Remove the Start Button - Temporarily

SUMMARY: Temporarily move the "Start" button around the taskbar.

This is not really a great tip, but some people find this interesting. Click on the "Start" button, then hold down the ALT key while pressing the minus sign. A menu will appear where you can move or close the "Start" button. Go ahead and move the "Start" button - it works, but will soon move back to its 'proper' place. Close down the "Start" button and you'll make it a little tougher to shut down the machine. If you do this, you can always shut down the machine from the window that appears when you press CONTROL - ALT - DEL.

Make sure you save your work before you 'experiment' with this.
