Windows 95 Taskbar - Toolbar
Taskbar Moves Slowly
SUMMARY: Speed up Windows 95's taskbar AutoHide feature.
If you have your taskbar set to "AutoHide," and find it moving slowly with a sliding effect, you may have Microsoft Plus! Installed. You will need to disable "Show Window Contents While Dragging." Right-click on an empty area of the desktop and choose "Properties." On the multi-tabbed dialog box that appears, click the "Plus!" tab. Now, uncheck ""Show Window Contents While Dragging" if it is checked, and choose OK.
Return to the Windows 95 Taskbar - Toolbar page.
