SUMMARY: A mouse shortcut to close windows directly from the Windows 95 taskbar.
You probably use the taskbar to switch between programs, and sometimes you use it to switch to a currently running program so you can close it. This means you probably click on the program in the taskbar, then you click on the program window's top-left icon, and then you select "Close." There's a shortcut. Right-click on a program in the taskbar and a pop-up window will appear. You can then select "Close" from that window. Some programs will even let you minimize or maximize their windows from that menu or perform other functions.
