| Add "Fonts" to your Favorites SUMMARY: Make it easier to access your fonts on your Windows 98 system.
Tired of clicking through the Control Panel to get to your fonts? Do you frequently need to preview your fonts on your Windows 98 machine and want an easier way to display them? If so, consider adding your Fonts Control Panel to your list of Favorites accessible through Explorer and Internet Explorer.
1. Click the "Start" menu, choose "Settings", then "Control Panel".
2. When the "Control Panel" window appears, double-click "Fonts".
3. When the "Fonts" window appears, click "Favorites", then "Add to Favorites".
4. When the "Add Favorite" dialog appears, give the item a name, such as "Display My Fonts". Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
Now, whenever in Windows 98 that you have access to the "Favorites" menu, your list of fonts is only a couple of clicks away!
If you have lots of Favorites and find it hard navigating through all of them to get to your fonts, open the "Favorites" menu and click on your new font Favorite, but keep the mouse button held down. Drag the mouse up to the top of your list of Favorites, then release the mouse button. Now, accessing your fonts is even easier!
