SUMMARY: Disable the Windows 98 help system's contents, index, and search tabs for more viewing space.
If you are looking at a large help document, you may want to give more of your screen "real estate" to the document you are viewing. To do so, turn off the contents, index, and search tabs. Click on the "Options" button and choose "Hide Tabs." Or, click the "Hide" button. You may need to un-maximize and re-maximize the help topic so it can be shown in full screen mode. To turn the tabs back on, click the "Options" button and choose "Show Tabs." Or, just click the "Show" button.
Press the "print" button on your browser or select "File" - "Print" to print this tip. Then, return to Windows 98 and Windows Help - Hide the Contents, Index, and Search Tabs in Help
