Windows 98 - TweakUI
Remove Popup Maximize, Minimize, and Close
SUMMARY: Turn off annoying Windows 98 tooltip windows with TweakUI.
Tired of seeing the "Minimize," "Close," and "Maximize" tooltip windows that appear whenever you wish to perform such actions with Windows 98?
1. Access the Windows 98 Tweak UI Control Panel applet (if you do not have it installed, read the tip elsewhere in MalekTips).
2. On the multi-tabbed dialog box that appears after running Tweak UI, select the "General" tab.
3. Scroll down to "Mouse hot tracking effects" and check the box.
4. Press "OK" to close the dialog box.
