Change the Scan Results Sound SUMMARY: Make the Ad-Aware scan results sound a little less jarring.
Whenever Ad-Aware detects spyware / adware after a scan, it plays a very unique sound file to warn you that malware was found. If your speakers are loud you're sure to hear this sound way across the room!
If you'd like to change this sound file to one of your choosing, do the following from within Ad-Aware:
1. Click the button that looks like a gear ("Settings").
2. When the settings dialog opens, click the "Interface" button.
3. Underneath "Play This Wave file if Targets are Found", click the folder browse icon to browse your system for a desired wave file.
4. Click "Proceed" to close the dialog box and save your settings.
