Reset Settings to the Default

SUMMARY: Revert Ad-Aware's settings to their default state.

After configuring Ad-Aware, if you find that some of the changed settings, especially the scanning settings, have some unintended consequences, you may wish to change all of the settings back to their defaults. Luckily, you do not have to change each setting individually - one option can change them all back immediately.

1. Click the button that looks like a gear ("Settings").
2. When the settings dialog opens, click the "Defaults" button.
3. Click the link "Reset ALL Ad-Aware settings to default".

Return to the Ad-Aware page.
