Create Adobe PDFs with Online Tool

SUMMARY: Develop PDF files without having to download or purchase Adobe Acrobat.

Interested in converting Microsoft Word (.doc) files or other documents to the Adobe PDF format so they can be more easily distributed over the Internet?

Adobe Reader 7 contains a menu option with a direct link to an online PDF creation tool. With this online tool, you can convert Microsoft Office files, graphics, web pages, and other selected file types to redistributable PDF documents for a monthly or yearly fee.

As of the time this tip was written (12/27/2004), Adobe offers a free trial where you can convert five documents for free.

To access this feature, either click "File" - "Create Adobe PDF Online" from within Adobe Reader 7, or visit the following website:
