Adobe Reader 7

Remember More Documents

SUMMARY: Configure Adobe Reader 7.0 to remember more of your most recently accessed documents.

Normally, when you click the "File" menu from within Adobe Reader 7.0, a list of up to the four most recently accessed PDFs is visible. This way, if you need to view a document that you looked at recently, you won't have to navigate your computer via Explorer to find the file. However, if you read many PDFs, perhaps you might want Adobe Reader to remember more recently accessed files? To make this change:

1. Click "Edit" - "Preferences".

2. When the "Preferences" dialog appears, click "Startup" in the left pane.

3. In the right pane, next to "Maximum documents in most-recently used list", scroll the arrow up to 10.

4. Click "OK" to save your changes.
