Adobe Reader 7

Hide the Yahoo! Toolbar

SUMMARY: Remove Yahoo! Search capabilities from Adobe Reader 7.0's toolbar.

The Yahoo! or "Search the Internet" button, available in the Adobe Reader 7.0 toolbar by clicking the icon with a "Y!" next to a pair of binoculars, allows you to enter search queries to Yahoo! without first opening up your web browser. If you prefer a different search engine, or would rather search from within your web browser and not Adobe Reader, you can disable this button in one of two ways:

* Choose "View" - "Toolbars" - "Search the Internet"
* Right-click the "Y!" button and uncheck "Search the Internet"
