Adobe Reader 7 - Do Not Check Spelling When Filling Out Forms

SUMMARY: Prevent Adobe Reader 7.0 from marking proper names as misspellings when filling out PDF forms.

If you need to fill out a form inside a PDF document when using Adobe Reader 7.0, you'll notice that Adobe Reader performs spellchecking on your text. If you commonly enter names, acronyms, or other text that doesn't normally appear in dictionaries, you'll notice many of your words getting underlined. If you find this annoying and wish to turn off spell-check:

1. Click "Edit" - "Preferences".
2. When the "Preferences" dialog appears, click "Spelling" in the left pane.
3. In the right pane, uncheck "Check spelling while typing".
4. Click "OK" to save your changes.
