Adobe Reader 7 - Export a PDF file to a text file

SUMMARY: Quickly create plain-text files from your PDF documents.

Depending on the security settings chosen by a particular PDF document's author, you may be able to export a PDF document to a plain-text file for research purposes. This can be much easier than copying and pasting text from the PDF into another document.

To perform this technique with Adobe Reader 7, simply click "File" - "Save as Text". Choose your desired filename and click "Save".
