Change the Color of Red Squiggles when Proofreading

SUMMARY: If the squiggles underneath misspelled text filled out in PDF forms are hard to see, change the color.

When you enter text in forms built into certain PDF documents, Adobe Reader 7 will proofread the text, marking possible misspelled words with red squiggly lines. If you'd like to change the color of these lines:

1. Click "Edit" - "Preferences".

2. When the "Preferences" dialog box appears, click "Spelling" in the left pane.

3. In the right pane, next to "Underline color", click the red colored box and choose your desired squiggly line.

4. When done, click "OK" to close the Adobe Reader 7 "Preferences" dialog box.
