Adobe Reader 7 - Use High-Contrast Colors

SUMMARY: Make PDF documents easier to read in some cases with Adobe Reader 7.

If you find Adobe Reader 7 document text hard to read, you may wish to choose a high-contrast color scheme. This feature changes the text and document background colors for most PDF documents to a scheme with contrasting text and background colors.

1. Click "Edit" - "Preferences".

2. When the "Preferences" dialog box appears, click "Accessibility" in the left pane.

3. In the right pane, check "Replace Document Colors".

4. Select the radio button "Use High-Contrast colors".

5. Next to "High-contrast color combination", click the pull-down to choose the desired color combination:

* Green text on black
* Yellow text on black
* White text on black
* Black text on white

6. Uncheck "Only change the color of black text or line art."

7. Check "Change the color of line art as well as text".

8. Click "OK" to close the "Preferences" dialog box.
