Change the Document's Colors

Is a PDF file hard to read because of the color scheme? You can change the document's default colors in Adobe Reader 7 to those of your liking.

From Adobe Reader, click "Edit" then "Preferences". When the "Preferences" window appears, choose "Accessibility". Now, check "Replace Document Colors". Choose to change the document text or background colors as desired, then press "OK" when done.

This may be useful on some laptops or monitors where the contrast is set too high, causing text on bright white backgrounds (the default) to be unreadable. Using this feature, you can give the document background a slightly grayish tone, which may make PDFs easier to read.
