Adobe Reader 7 - Toggle Displaying PDFs in the Browser Window

SUMMARY: Display PDF files either in your browser or Adobe Reader 7 window.

Depending on your system configuration, when you open PDF files from your web browser, the PDF may display in an Adobe Reader 7 window integrated inside your web browser.

If you prefer having PDF files open in separate Adobe Reader 7 windows, do the following:

1. From Adobe Reader 7 select "Edit" - "Preferences".

2. When the "Preferences" dialog box appears, click "Internet' in the left pane.

3. In the right pane, check or uncheck "Display PDF in browser" as desired.

4. Click "OK" to save your settings.

5. Adobe Reader 7 will prompt that you need to reboot your machine to save your changes. Either choose to reboot now or later.
