SUMMARY: Your pilot may be able to offer suggestions for your digital aerial photography.
Before your airplane or helicopter flight, don't be afraid to talk to the pilot. Flight time is quite expensive, so any help they can provide beforehand may save you time, money, and aggravation.
Let the pilot know what types of photos you wish to take. An experienced pilot can let you know whether or not a particular photo is feasible, and pre-planning can help in picking out the shot order as well as which angle to use when approaching various subjects. If they have flown other photographers, a pilot may also be able to offer other great alternative photo suggestions.
